I really don't get that attitude, even. I bought a busted Tele from eBay and restored the thing, now it plays as good as anything and cost a fraction of what OP paid.

I have a friend that does this. Buys a guitar in payments then wants something else and sells it to get another guitar. He's had like 10 different guitars in the 2 years I've known him.

He's talking about one of those zero percent interest offers. Nothing wrong with buying something and paying it off before the interest kicks in. I did this with an ES-175 when I was in my early 20s. I got a promotional zero interest credit card and paid it off. I basically had the guitar then entire time I was "saving" up for it.

As an Adam Jones fan I dig the Silverburst. That being said I cannot fathom wanting 3 Les Paul's. That's pretty ridiculous IMO. Maybe sell another one help pay for this one?

A for the multiple payments thing, it's a good deal if you make sure to make your payments and don't fuck it up and have to pay interest. Also, like others have said, do your best to pay it off early to help your credit.
