What's his best album?

Everybody knows this is nowhere
I like Rust Never Sleeps myself but I'll admit I'm a pretty casual fan
On the Beach is the only one that I care
Hitchhiker
He has such a huge discography that you can't pick just one, anything up to Mirror Ball is potentially worth listening to. Anything he did in the 21st century can be ignored.
After the Gold Rush obviously.

I like After The Gold Rush and Tonight's The Night the most
Harvest is a very overrated album and Neil even admits it himself, other than The Needle and the Damage Done, which has (unfortunately) become a relevant song again with the opioid epidemic.

This
Cinnamon girl, cowgirl in the sand, down by the river, it just can't be topped
After the Gold Rush is pretty much perfect imo. On the Beach, Tonight's the Night, and Rust Never Sleeps are close.
anyone else kinda prefer Harvest Moon to Harvest?
Rust Never Sleeps was a fantastic closer album to the 70s.

After the gold rush or Decade if that counts
His entire 70s output is pretty great but I agree with most people itt it's probably after the gold rush

Psychedelic Pill? Chrome Dreams II? Le Noise?

This is not true of any one Neil era, except maybe late '90s-early '00s. Some lackluster stuff beyond that sure, but don't tell me there weren't some hiccups and bad decisions everywhere else. I mean, Reactor? That album is fucking terrible.

I just went through his entire discography last month. Definitely concur.
I HOPE NEIL YOUNG WILL REMEMBAH
On the Beach.
