damn that fucking blows, recently my old HDD just fucked on me and I thought I lost EVERYTHING including my iTunes shit, but luckily I was able to use the old HDD as a 2nd option after installing a new HDD with a new installation of W10 and it still had the iTunes folder (that saves all that data) in the music folder, so I just passed that over from the old HDD to the new one and all my playlists were there
