Not ever finishing tracks, uploading WIPs to soundcloud for a few friends, and then realizing the music has been degenerate all along was my strategy.
It worked out pretty well, because now I'm not associated with aesthetically suspect material.
Been doing the twitter follow/unfollow thing.
Post my music here and on reddit.
Submit to blogs, none of which want it.
Have a little over 300 sc followers and 450 twitter followers. Been doing this since june-ish, so I guess it's going ok?

i did shill on /mu/ for a time and got almost 8,000 plays on my music. never generated any significant following however
