How can one Genre be so underrated on /mu/ and elsewhere?

/mu/ likes country though. Just make a thread about it and you'll get replies with good recommendations. The "I listen to everything except country" is a meme that shits on Top 40 normies.
The only genre that /mu/ hates are electro-swing and everything related to swing revival.

Country underrates itself.

Country is a thing of it's time, like Jazz and Classical, there's no room for it in modern music.
