Squarepusher has had many iterations of his manic breakbeats over the years, but to think that the jazz heavy "Hard Normal Daddy" and alien "Go Plastic" were by the same artist is an interesting evolution timeline.
Soft Machine moved away from Psychedelic rock jazz rock and straight jazz fusion as time went on.
