Was this album the peak of rock music? Even The Beatles never recorded an album this great.
Rock music hasn't hit a peak because I have yet to release an album :^)

I absolutely love London Calling. Not only is it great in its own right, but you can clearly hear its influences across genres today, not just in rock, pop, and punk, but in hip hop.
We wouldn't have artists like xxxtentacion without The Clash and for that I'm pretty grateful. People who so masterfully fuse rock, hip hop, and meaningful lyrics together are few and far between, and whether it's "The Guns of Brixton" or "XO Tour Llif3" the spirit of rock lives on

Agreed. The Guns of Brixton is absolutely god tier.

nice
With this album, The Clash proved that they could write amazing songs in almost any genre they want.

London Calling is pretty great but I can think of one record I would take over it: Paranoid
