vaporwave is literally the opposite of nightcore though in terms of production techniques

what makes it daycare?

The unfortunate part for both genres is nobody knows when it's appropriate to pitch a voice up or down, and nobody knows when it's too much. This is pitch down too much. A lot of nightcore is pitched up too much. It's like nobody has an idea of what generally sounds pleasing
This is also the first I've heard of daycore. Cool meme, but vaporwave is kinda the opposite of nightcore already. Nightcore typically speeds up current popular music, vaporwave typically slows down older popular music. Not that that's exactly what either of them always do, but it's the general idea
>>75024148
the chart is for post-nightcore, not just nightcore
>>75024212
well, when is it "too much"
>>75024298
When it starts sounding demonic or like a chipmunk, instead of say a vocalist with a deep or high voice. That video's too low
Urban dic
>The opposite of nightcore. Generally consists of fast house/happy hardcore tracks slowed down to sound like they are being sung by male vocalists.
is this accurate? isn't this a form of vaporwave? isn't all this stuff vaporwave? just fast and slow vaporwave sampling from different areas o music history?
