why do normies hate music without lyrics?
Because there's no hook to poorly sing along with.

vocals probably help them pay attention so whenever esomeone speaks in a song they perk up, I used to be the same way when I was like four years olddddd

the reason i personally dont like music without lyrics all the time is because obviously, lyrics have their own tones and notes etc that go with the intrumentals(i dont go on this board at all so sorry if i get terminology wrong) and while i know there is music that some could say don't need lyrics, whenever I try it, i just feel like there's something missing.

and when i say this, im not saying i need words in a song but the melody(?) is what i listen for in the voice. i could not give 2 shits about the words and i never sing to them, i hum
why do plebs listen to music without lyrics?
any instrumental piece of music would be improved by reciting poetry over it
it's literally another artistic layer to any music.

wagner pls go back to being dead
Because they're stupid
I only listen to music with either no lyrics, gibberish lyrics, or lyrics in a language I can't understand.

Yeah but in practice it doesn't work like that. I can think of literally one famous artist who actually used his voice like an instrument (and wrote gibberish lyrics) and that's Jon Anderson
>normies
Because lyrics makes you relate very directly to the artist basically.
