was huge here in 2014, kind of as a meme but he was also a genuinely great singer and decent songwriter.
then he sort-of disappeared (he put out an ep, had a few live shows and dropped some collabs with bobby raps, but was mostly quiet), and a few days ago he finally dropped a full length album and it's great

i get that the first song is kind of a turn off because he's crying and wallowing all over, but this album has some genuinely amazing cuts like revenge song and mourn, the latter being a better example of his usual singing style.
even the first song - it took a few listens, but it grew on me. now this is my AOTY
