Meme and good
Rock

Experimental

I don't.
I'm already OCD about everything else and I don't need another time consuming chore.
I know what genre it is by looking at the band name anyway.
can someone link me an interview where the artist genuinely gives a fuck what genre they labeled themselves as?
>Art music
>Popular music
>music
I like to have things organized for grouping. Let's say I'm going to be driving for a bit and I want to pull up a certain kind of music, I'll just go for the "krautrock" or "post-punk" tag.
>>75017240
i leave them blank
>>75017278
Basically this, but if the primary genre is something nonspecific like "electronic" or not real like "indie rock" or "East Coast hip hop" I usually come up with a more precise descriptor on my own
i just leave it as whatever it is on itunes or whatever it was already tagged as when i downloaded i dont sort by genre when looking for an album so it doesnt really matter
rock
electronica
the list goes on

>East Coast Hip Hop
>not real
Nigga I don't think you understand, each region developed it's own style, once you sort rap by region it becomes very easy to tell what area rappers are from. Each region is fundamentally different literally on the level of how different Soft Jazz, Free Jazz and Jazz Fusion are from each other.
