Overall not my thing, but the windows-intro by Hooch McAllister is priceless. Regardless, of my personal taste cool compilation with quality production.

Cool and catchy stuff you got there. Nice mix of ambient other electronica. Looking forward for more. Fav Track: Spaeth (for the lonely guitar)

I'm working on some new stuff. My problem has been that I've been writing and recording at the same time, so if I wanna change something with structure, I'm not motivated to change it because it's a lot of work, but I'm taking my time now and writing them out. I'm excited to release an EP soon.
Standouts:
>>75016585
Some really solid ambient composed stuff. It actually feels like there was a lot of work put into this, and it's incredibly emotionally evocative. I like this a lot. Did you play these instruments? They feel very much alive, especially the strings.
>>75016756
Where the hell am I supposed to start? The first track is sloppy and noisy, kinda disconnected, and the drums really are too loose for the song. Second song suffers from bad mixing. Flow isn't great, and you can barely hear the beat. It's too much going on, and nothing is balanced. Track three is fine, but poor mixing as well and overly repetitive. Track four is bad. I don't wanna hear this song as if I stuck my iphone 4 in a glass of water and the cup is giving it bad acoustics as well as warbling the sound and breaking my speakers. Track five isn't bad, takes awhile to get started though. I really don't like this rapper, his flow and lyrics just bother me. Track six is bad. It's like a bad Suicidal Tendencies. This song shouldn't be on here. Track seven I actually like. It's kinda dirty south in a way, just in that vocal sample, and the instrumental actually kicks. I wish shoeless nick had more on this tape than just this song, because he seems to be the standout so far. Track eight is also pretty solid, I'm really a sucker for pitched down vocals. Track nine is a mess, akirameru needs to mix and edit more. Track ten has bad white boy flow. It's real bad. Like his rushing on some lines really shows his amateurism, +his lyrics

cont from here
Track eleven is just a vaporwave song with too much reverb. The choral parts are pretty cool I guess, but too much added noise. And the second half is just too much. Track twelve isn't good, I'd say Galactic Pack's weakest track on here. Again, don't like his flow rally. Intro was kinda cool though. Track thirteen I was dreading, because I didn't like the other unfinished business track, but this song was kinda cool. I like the stoner metal riff, and the creepy sample was cool. Record the bass better though. I don't wanna hear the slapping in it. Also clean up the playing a little bit. Also the outro made me realize this was probably made while pretty stoned, but write/record stoned, rerecord/mix sober. Track fourteen was ok. Again, not a huge fan of the first guy's flow, it's just corny. Second and third verses wasn't bad. I don't like this beat though, even though usually they're fine. I think it's the cloud feel plus that 808 cowbell I don't like. The last track is too clean and synthesized for the rest of the album, but some of the sounds are kinda nice. The synth lines are kinda corny. Then this really cool beat kicks in right at the end, then it ends?
Overall, track seven and eight were the standout good tracks, the rest were varying degrees of not good besides track four, track six, track ten, and akirameru's contributions are notably bad. The album is sloppy, under edited, and has no cohesion whatsoever. There are some ideas that can be developed more, but there are some tracks and maybe some members that could be cut, or at least their skills could be honed. If y'all like what you're making, that's awesome, and I hope you can fill a niche in whatever audience you're aiming for, but if you're looking for some feedback I gotta say it doesn't feel very serious, like a lot of focus and effort was put into it.

thank you for the great feedback on that one last thread. The contrast bit was a thought completely new to me.
this album of yours here is tight af, not what I was expecting. the jazzy nature is perfect, has me feeling like I'm listening to so many artists I dig all at once. Definite Zorn & Sun Ra up in there like you mentioned.

Sorry if we post in these threads a lot. Just not many places to promote. I feel like we should highlight other places to promote in these threads as well. Because I had always felt that these threads are more an outlet for feedback and constructive criticism moreso than exposure. It'd help everyone a lot if we share promotion outlets amongst each other. I've found that the Sputnik music community is very open to user made music and can really help spread your music about the website. If you're confident in your music throw it in the database and share it a bit. It might get traction there. Our albumf from last summer, the one I linked just now, was featured on the front page for a week there when we released it. Helped us out immensely. Just my two cents. At any rate these threads are usually pretty good.
Oh and we've been working on a new album which should be out around late October. I'm very very pleased with these songs and cannot wait for people to hear them so keep an eye out
