Not really, no. You have to understand that something like The National can't thrive or be discussed on a board like /mu/ where everyone is too spineless to do anything other than regurgitate the same hyped albums and critic scores. Half the people citing this band as boring are probably in their late teens or early, early 20s and have no idea how to digest new albums in full.

I have a feeling this album will grow on me, I'm not really feeling it at the moment which is surprising since I've been impatiently waiting for a proper leak all week
