I'll start.

Untrue is more like the late night coffee shop insomnia feel while watching vehicles or passerby (if they're any that late) pass by you as you sit alone at the counter facing the window
>>75002145
Untrue's effective as both.

*tips*
Blonde on blonde
>>75002204
ah, one of the four pillars of fedoracore
>>75002292
A decent amount of late night driving music is associated with fedora culture, it doesn't deviate from the quality though.
So yeah, shut the fuck up.

>Implying anyone who lives outside of the UK can understand Burial

>>75002490
I'm a pard and I "understand" Burial just fine.
>>75002516
What the fuck's a pard
>>75002528
What the fuck's your previous post?
>>75002516
you think you do but you don't
Modest Mouse - LCW
>>75002490
Is Burial actually supposed to be a meditation on depression? or is it supposed to just represent the stillness of the night time, and being extremely introverted, but happy?
I find a lot of joy in Burial's music nowadays, just wanna know about what others take on this is.
>>75002567
this
My go-to is all the albums that exist that have black cover art or a photo of night on the cover.
>>75002567
How so?
Is there a genuine correlation between life in the UK and his music that I haven't been seeing for YEARS?
You probably won't even reply, which is what bongs usually do when confronted with their xenophobic bullshit.

Seconding these

He's meming. The same as when people make threads "Post X that women will never understand"
>>75002665
you probably understand Burial's music just fine if you live in an urban or even towny area. But there are certain sounds that you won't feel the full context of until you live in South London.
for example I know of a few sounds that pop up in Burial's music that are almost exclusive to certain areas in London. That sound everyone thinks is a 'rave siren' is actually a fucking elavator beep sound made exclusively by lifts in Shoreditch station
>>75002690
Is this actually good?
I'm only listening to it if it's chill and lowkey, I am not listening to a Brand New album under any fucking circumstances but this doesn't seem like a Brand New album if that makes sense.
Not the whole album, but this track's perfect in the city.

>>75003130
it's so lo-fi though. how do I get into it?
>>75003083
Yep, songs like Lit Me Up and 137 are amazing to drive to
>>75003240
This is not a late night drive album, it's a late night walk album.
>>75003240
Thiiiiiiiiiiiiis 100%
>>75002793
(not him but) I find hard to believe that in the era of interchangeable parts and international standards there are sounds made by machinery that are exclusive to such a limited area
anything by portishead.
