Memes/trolling and irony aside, how does /mu/ really feel about this album? What were your experiences with it?

I liked it when I was 15.
It's 9/10 classic
Annoying /mu/plebes will always try and be contrary and say that Syd "I've got a bike and you can ride it if you like" Barrett was better
i can't understand why this shit is in RYM top10 near such diamonds like Radiohead or MBV
on the run is 10/10. the rest is ok.
I listened to this for the first time, all the way through, when I was on a bus ride home from college. It was going dark and I was tired and it seemed like the perfect moment for it because I had tingles in my spine and welling of tears for most of the time.
Listened to the whole album twice over while walking the MoMA on acid

I like this album but I don't think it's one of Pink Floyd's best. I think the first half is much stronger than the second half (other than Us & Them).
Meddle, Wish You Were Here, and Animals are all superior albums.
