It's their first album since Revolver where they're actually working as a band, but they have matured a lot, especially since working on Sgt. Pepper's, Magical Mystery Tour and The White Album, as well as the Get Back sessions. Overall, they're a lot more mature as songwriters and musicians in general compared to Revolver, but they're also working as a band - the album flows a lot better than any other from before, personally.
