Die Antwoord is a comedy rap group, and it's only the latest in a string of projects. The album they did as the Constructus Corporation is one of the greatest indie rap albums of all time, but it went unrecognized, so they dumbed themselves down, and the result is Die Antwoord. That they found massive success with their most self-consciously dumb project is telling about society.
The word 'Zef' is just the South African slang term for white trash or redneck.
