I hate this meme, Johnny Cash's version of Hurt lacks any desperation of the original, it is cheap, doing nothing new, while NIN's version is much more interesting and if you involver yourself and actually listen to the fucking song, much more effective.

And apart from Hurt, there wasn't any other cover from NIN that is good in any capacity.
