Hello there /mu/, I just lost my chance to become a doctor forever, probably I'm going to end up as an underpaid sob. And the regret has just dawned on me all at once. Music for this feel?

Op here, thanks for the submissions, I will listen to it later. The dread of knowing that you will never ever get to fulfill your dreams has to be the most depressing feel, ever.
Yep, time to play this album again

Oh no. God bless you anon for attempting to make a positive contribution to the world, its a shame that Medical students and those aspiring to be such are so harshly bitten down on with little justification, the entire career path comes across as an exercise in self-destruction rather than crafting a career given the quantity of financial risk and toil that goes into such with enormous legal repercussions for the slightest failure. I wish that you are not feeling too unpleasant as of this evening and if you require and embrace or somewhere to out-pour your disappointment then there is always 4chan. We understand and hope the best for you *gently strokes your hair*, please do not give up on your ambitions, even if you will not become a Doctor you can use your skills somewhere else, though I know you've heard this all before.

In Italy you have to pass a test to get into med school, making both big money and your parents proud in the process. You got one shot per year, no exceptipn, this was my second try. Needless to say, that didn't happen, nor ever will. Eh, such is life I guess.

Not my cup of tea, thanks anyway

This is the kindest troll I've seen. If not, thank you, but I don't think I'd be of greater use than a waiter. It's a shame for my dad really hoped that I made it big.
As far as skills go, I didn't pass that test twice in a row, so I wouldn't call it a fortune. To spaghettibros:
Se qualcuno che legge ha sostenuto i test oggi, che il cielo ve la mandi buona, visto che a me non l'ha fatto.

Really digging this album lately. Has that sad/nostalgic going for it

You would most certainly be of greater use, given that you're an eye-tie you could at least be a chef, hehe! On a serious note though there are other fields where you can apply what you have studied even if it is not medically related. Quite interesting that you have had multiple attempts, here you only get one and have to pass a CAT exam on top of that. How is health-care in Italy? Is the SSN understaffed or in any manner deteriorating? Just out of interest.
Also do not be too hurt about disappointing your father - sure it is a shame that such has occurred though it will only get worse to be honest should you choose to go down the path of a waiter (i.e. working minimum wage with high hours with enormous stress, even more on silver service), personally I'd look into biological engineering though it is not for everyone. Please do not forsake your intelligence though, there are many including myself who wish we were smart enough to even dream of becoming a doctor. You have great potential even if it may not be useful, keep sharp and do not let yourself go. As for music, I suppose;
