I feel like taste in movies and music and stuff is directly related to IQ and personality so I'd say very important

Pretty important. I like sharing my main interests with my so and going to shows with them. I mean my bf and i have other things in common. But it's really nice to like the same music. It's also nice to have an interest in each others music projects.

I prefer if our tastes are similar but different enough that we can show each other things and are both open to new stuff. Having a few of your favorite artists in common is great too then you can go to shows and you're both into it
