It sucks that Mr Bungle gets a bad rep on /mu/ from the sporkposters, California and Disco Volante are both fantastic works in their own respects. Their self-titled debut is a little dated in production and pushed it with its use of humor a little bit, but holds some of their best written material.

The recording quality and squeals annoyed me at first, but I got older and found some real beauty in it. And of course, the guitar work is almost perfect.
