Maybe, I don't know. Online lessons do the trick as much as face-to-face ones do as well desu, if not better because you can go at your own time.

I think it can be a useful practice tool, but a good teacher can help you avoid bad habits and explain the concepts behind a part or style, in a way that self teaching and programs can't provide.

The game tries to teach string muting in the most basic manner but doesn't really touch on it enough and the actual technique used so for songs that required string muting, he just couldnt do it. He also had trouble with learning proper rhythm
