Depends what patrician means because jazz fans would hate me but I love an album like that so clearly that album would be pleb to them because I'm not a jazz elitist

I don't think it would make sense for me to say experimental jazz is the best jazz because I'm not a huge fan of plain jazz

You know, they have a lot of experience listening to jazz, they can talk about the music on a deep level and back up their points with analysis, theory, and examples.
