Literally like 0.1% of indie songs have banjo on it. I can only think about faux indie bands like Mumford and Sons and The Luminers.
>>74938798
that would actually be beatdown hardcore (minus the gang choirs)

>Only having one line
Popular music, everyone.
Key for those who don't usually study fugues:
Subject: main melody of the fugue
Answer: main melody transposed up a 5th but yet in the same key as the original subject (so some tones may be altered)
CS1: counter-subject 1, usually constructed from fragments of the subject - inversions, retrogrades, etc. Should still be a free-standing melodic line in its own right though
CS2: counter subject 2. The second counter subject
Episode: a "free" section where you can do what you like, usually with some sequences in order to get to a specific key (for example, first episode takes us from C minor to Eb major.
Notice how the subects and countersubjects can be either on the top pitch-wise or on the bottom - known as "invertible counterpoint". The various melodies work perfectly when played above or below each other.
