They both have very loyal fans that get really deep into the genre to understand its nuances. Not only that, they often as a result tend to have it become other parts of their lives ranging from fashion to finding obscure records that would deserve a remaster and remaster them. Other genre fans don't care for the music as much so they don't get as deep as metal and hip hop fans do.
