It kind of reminds me of punk. I used tu go to drum n bass/jungle nights that were in the basement of a club that catered to the hip hop crowd. There were drugs, but there are drugs at any show. My group of friends mostly just smoked weed and drank Guinness or Red Stripe. We'd go between the hip hop and jungle areas and it was relatively chill despite the ear shattering sound systems. No fights, no drugged out crackhead ravers... It was cool. Now I don't even know wtf is going on with this druggie/candy raver revival.
