posting a thread is actually a social activity. the point is to open discussion, relate to others and so on. if you post something which is not conducive to that sort of thing, you will not get any response.

not only are people on this board not interested in classical performance, but those who are interested will realize that you posted the consensus greatest classical pianist in the age of recorded music

it is difficult to imagine any other way this thread would have gone. i am not sure what you thought was going to happen
