Nightcore is basically a genre that just speeds up pop/trance/post-hardcore music JUST ENOUGH to where it sounds like as if its being sung by an anime girl. Or to just have that traditional sound. Listening to that stream or just typing in nightcore on youtube will give anyone the best examples

i feel like if you speed up samples and do experimental things to the music then it consitutes as post nightcore. there aren't enough post nightcore albums in existence to start splitting it up into sub genres yet so even though my pn sounds different to other peoples, it still follows the basic principles

a staple in pn is to change the structure of the song itsself. Like repeating choruses and reversing verses or whatnot. Instead of just leaving the song mostly untouched.

i add a load of pluggins to various sections of the songs, and then mix them again. i don't see how that's leaving the songs untouched when i add complexed layers of texture tonality to the music.
