An absolutely pitch perfect performance, every little nuance from their albums being translated flawlessly

Saw them for the Green Naugahyde tour and it was fantastic. Had a bizarre burlesque show before hand which was neat and a mariachi band.

Primus is terrible. They have a few cool rhythmic ideas (My Name Is Mud), but they're too goofy to take seriously. Les seriously sounds like a country parody singer and their lyrics are beyond retarded. There's a difference between having some songs with absurdist/Dadaist lyrics (like Lou Reed, System of a Down, Nirvana) and just constantly singing about stupid shit like "wynona's big brown beaver"

A lot of people agree about the lyrics. But I don't anyone whose music taste I respect who doesn't take Les's bass seriously. The drumming is also criminally underrated as well in my opinion (Tommy the Cat is a highlight).
