The image in question is implying that he has not properly listened to the album given that he'd have been listening to it from around 11:06~ to 11:42~ at most, in short he is refraining from giving the album a fair, objective listen and skipping straight to the new Mogwai release. I mean really, who didn't expect this. I don't think there's many people as salty about LCDs reuinion as Fantano is. What they're doing on AD is a clear continuation of This Is Happening but it's not like it's trash. It's their best but it's still a pretty solid 7.5 or 8 album. If you never liked them before, this won't change your mind.

The vitriol with which melon approached the whole thing beforehand is just really pathetic. He's obviously gonna trash it because he still can't let it go. I mean, he already showed that in the ticket video when he talked about the Noisey headline being bullshit. But at the end of the vid he still couldn't stop himself from being like "but I don't know, they could be greedy blablabla". For someone who's going so hard on the 'inetgrity' of music journalism all the time he should just drop the review because it'll be trash no matter what.

Usually for the reviews I care about, if it's one I generally disagree with I'll at least understand what he's saying or he'll shed light on something I didn't notice before. Both positively or negatively... But I'm talking in my last post about albums I have pretty much no complaints about and he has nothing but negative points, as with 22AM for the most part (I agreed with his points on the mixing though. It was pretty awful in spots)
