I haven't heard any recent good lo-for hip hop but I feel like anything worthwhile is lost in a vast sea of the same bland lofi beats u get all the time
rec me some good newish stuff if there is any

the nujabes formula is stale but for bedroom beat producers thats blasphemy

It's a good subgenre I guess but not complex enough, it reminds me of those kids in school that could play "Stairway to Heaven" but couldn't play a simple three chords Ramones song.

This stuff can get shit out by anyone with even the most minimal amount of musical talent such as FilthyFrank, I see those 24/7 "Lo-fi Hip-Hop" broadcasts on youtube and they always have some sort of anime theme in the background. The genre is vapid, hollow and sounds the same; thus I know I will dislike it without even having to listen to it
