Too hard to say, he has dozens of great ones
For some reason Forcefield has always stood out, not that it's his best song, but I do love it
Totally Confused (Golden Feelings version), Alcohol (Loser single version), Pink Noise, or Fume (Loser single version)

>Totally Confused (Golden Feelings version)
Excellent taste anon, the female vocals and strings are so beautiful. I agree with you on the the Golden Feelings version too, it's a wonderful surprise at the end of the album to have the irony lift for a little
I'm really fond of Strange Apparitions

I can't really come up with an overall favorite, he's too eclectic and a lot of his work is incomparable to other albums he's made, but right now, Tropicalia is a favorite
I love it when he gets melancholic, the poetry in We Live Again is perfect, I discovered it when I took a trip around Arizona and looked at ghost towns.

Then this cut from Sea Change, Guess I'm Doing Fine.

Loser
Beck is one of those great artists who gets overlooked/shat on because he happened to break through into the mainstream just a little too far
My personal favorites are Fuckin with My Head, Novacane, Sissyneck, Diamond Bollocks, Earthquake Weather, and Think I'm in Love

Wow nice call anon, what this song needs is a string section, I honestly think it could be a classic with a high budget but its still really good. Like just imagine strings hitting hard into that intro it could make a guy tear up.
Cellphone's Dead.

Oh and Volcano is another one I love. Probably sounds better int he context of the album than on its own, but it's sad beck at his best

Oh yeah, Mutations is a really underrated album as a whole desu

Pretty much, He can tackle whatever style of music he wants and almost always knocks it out of the park while still sounding unique. One Foot In The Grave is one the best albums K ever released and it's overlooked because he got too big and isn't indeh enough for the twee fags

Anything Mellow Gold, really

lol quite possibly, the song meant a lot to me when I heard at 14.
It's All In Your Mind is from the same sessions originally and wasn't even included on the album, but with some glossier production it ended up being a stand-out on Sea Change.
Still, part of me likes how fragile Forcefield is as a lo-fi tune, makes it feel more emotional imo
Tie between 'We Live Again' and 'Side of the Road. Sea Change and Mutations are hands-down his best albums though.
