Got the new Oh Sees from castle face last week
>>74879996
Oh lucky, i wanted one of the colored ones, sould out quickly though
>>74879996
Squealer did nothing wrong.
some goodies over here
Got it for cheaper than Discogs
>>74880354
how much?
>>74880322
>viper tape
>>74880322
man I wish that viper tape wasn't $20 USD
>>74880373
Don't be jelly bro.
>>74880029
yeah, crazy how many flippers they attract. they did say they would release more of the colored variants later but didn't say when exactly
>>74880368
25 bucks, minus shipping. Might be a lot, but not as much as they're offering right now
>>74880499
Nice, good deal. I preordered the Pure Guava reissue off schnitzel not too long ago too
>>74879908
TTNG - Self titles
Katie Ellen - Cowgirl Blues
Not at home to take a pic but these are my newest vinyl:
>QOTSA- Villains
Alt cover like OP has. The vinyl packaging is pretty damn cool.
>Beatles- Abbey Road
Seems to be original (I'm still making sure, if anyone has any suggestions besides checking runouts on discogs let me know) but it was $15 and in pristine shape. Even if it ends up being 70s I think it was worth it.
>Talking Heads- Remain in Light
Haven't played this one yet nor checked the press year on it, but it was $7 at a little hole-in-the-wall place in Mechanicsburg, PA. The sleeve has a good bit of damage but the record looks like it may have been played once or twice. Considering a co-worker JUST payed $25 on discogs for a repress, I'll gladly take it.
>Between the Buried and Me- Colors
Been looking for this for awhile. PRetty hyped to have it, though the breaks between the sides are really off (Sun of Nothing is by itself on Side C, for example)
>Ghost- Infestissumam
Fuck you, I like it. They're also one of the gf's favorite bands and she insisted I buy it for when she's around.
>Pink Floyd- A Momentary Lapse of Reason
Pretty good shape. Not the best of albums, but it's nice to have an original of it in my collection. I also scored an '87-'88 World Tour booklet with it at the same antique store. Pretty nifty.
>>74880824
Obviously I made a typo on the word "Pretty" and I meant to say "odd" in the BtBaM write-up. Whoops
>>74879908
Is that a bootleg Loveless?
>>74880011
didn't keep the obi? for shame
I went on a bit of a spree thing month and my wallet is not happy about it
I however am very happy
>>74879908
I'm assuming that loveless is bootleg, but if not, fuckin good job op
>>74880555
Same, that's one album I've been wanting for quite some time. I wonder what colors will be
>>74880876
Never really cared for the obi thing as long as I have the vinyl and it plays it's all good.
>>74880322
>viper tape
The only neat thing in this thread
>>74880925
>he discards obi strips
what the fuck
>>74881166
Yes, and i'll do it again.
>>74880859
>>74880885
It's a bootleg on red vinyl, I doubt I'd find a real one in the Netherlands very easily.

>>74881699
I have more fun collecting vinyl, not to mention you van get collect vinyl from ober a 100 years ago, cant do that with cd's can you now...
>>74881864
>you van get collect vinyl from ober a 100 years ago
>>74881864
I collect records too and holy shit you're a moron.
>>74881983
I should stop posting on pub nights.
>>74881699
Almost made it 30 whole posts without the classic poorfag signing into his local Starbucks wifi to shitpost. Maybe next time!
>>74879908
>not collecting vinyls
>>74880885
I'd love to have a copy of that QOTSA album, I'll never fogive myself for passing that one up a couple of years ago.
>>74882462
you should see the inside of it, man
It's full of cropped porn stills, it caught me completely off guard when I first opened it
>>74882462
Not that guy, but I found my vinyl copy of R at an FYE store for 50% off. Mind you, the marked price was $50 so I got it for $25, but a deal's a deal I suppose.
>>74880354
Nice
I've been ordering a lot lately - this came today
this came yesterday
>>74888670
that's real mellow music, perfect for ambient listening. but it rewards as much attention as you choose to put into it
>>74888728
...which came the same day as this
>>74880322
do you actually fucking have a viper cassette what the fuck
>>74888766
this was a chance buy. Hugo is a great label of traditional Chinese music, and it's just what I wanted - even if the discovery wasn't earth-shaking
>>74888808
all the related image results were of pie charts >:V

>>74888871
granny sings mountain music real nice
>>74880824
Just got home. Here they are!
>>74889080
nice - Remain in Light is solid
any key cuts from the new qotsa album you recommend?
>>74889235
Feet Don't Fail Me, Fortress, and Head Like a Haunted House are my favorite cuts.
The only real weak track for me was Hideaway, though I liked The Way You Used to Do when it first dropped, though a lot of people didn't. It's one of the Queens' weakest albums for sure, but still a solid one, I don't think they've released a bad album.
>>74889684
I still think the way it's mixed is its biggest problem. It's way too flat and quiet.
>>74879908
I got TH - Darkthrone 2nd press
and Twin Peaks OST from mondo
haven't gotten them yet.
>>74880354
sweet
Hope to see this reissued someday soon
>>74889684
thanks man
Posted Debut and Post the other day and got Homogenic today from a local record store
>>74880322
What's the album on the far right?
>>74880595
Mirin' that TTNG s/t that much have costed you a pretty penny
>>74893810
it's Der Sieg Des Lichtes Ist Des Lebens Heil by Der Blutharsch. Martial Industrial, it's pretty good.
>>74888796
yeah anon i do. he even signed it, i went overboard for this meme.
>>74890897
which one do you like the most?
>>74894202
Debut but my favorite bjork album is vespertine
>>74894333
cheers. vespertine is her most mature work
I know a lot of you guys have bought vinyl online and maybe some of you have even sold some. I'm thinking about selling a few pieces in my collection (that makes it sound super impressive but it really isn't), and I was wondering what the best way to package an album would be? I would obviously send it using USPS media mail, because I'm a cheap fuck.
>>74894458
http://imgur.com/gallery/zoaKq
not too big a fan of the taping part though. the record mailers will cost you but better safe than sorry
>>74893877
Indeed it did. I wanna get it signed at some point.
>>74881699
He fell for the "collecting vinyl is a meme" meme
>Kek
This guy is a retard if he unironically thinks that
>>74881699
haha kek lol cuck kkk neggar vinyl meme xDDDD
>>74889080
How's the album in the top right? I work at an fye and we got it in on cd a few days ago in a random shipment box and the art looked interesting
>>74879908
lol Wand.
dude i tried so hard to get into that fucking album. couldn't do it.
>>74879996
Fuck I want that
Just these two. Moxey is signed (circa '66), got it dirt cheap from the back of a thrift store. It's really dope jazz/dancehall/roots reggae.
>>74879996
Why does John Dwyer always go for a 2xLP at 45rpm? Is it a sound quality thing? It's not that long of an album, it would definitely fit on one LP.
The last Damaged Bug album was pressed on two LPs and it only took up three damn sides. The fourth was just fucking blank.
>>74897027
I was hooked from the get-go don't really know why.
>>74879996
I missed the preorders on those by minutes. Sold out while in my fucking cart
This came in before American Dream
>>74897001
fantastic unless progressive metalcore isn't your thing. You might have gotten it on CD since they are doing a tour for its anniversary.
How do you clean your vinyl?
I think I did ok.
Nothing too big, but they were cheap
>>74879908
New LCD is good so far
>>74898924
Goddam old ass phone
>>74898872
You've gotta hop on the vinyl train man.
>>74879908
Is that a real MBV or a colored KO
I got the KO for $15
>>74899131
I have vinyl, just really picky about purchases
You can tell which ones are second hand

This arrived.
Not my pic. It is from the website. But I wasn't going to spread all that on my floor like an autist.
>>74899131
No thanks. I grew up with CDs and I stick to CDs.
>>74899970

>>74902584
$487 with shipping as a pack
pwelverumandsun said "SAVE OVER $100" but I didn't do the math to see if it was true.
>>74879908
Picked these up at a show recently. Gonna catch him again next Thursday
I just got my Portal LP today but it came warped to shit. The package was just too thin, and it's never good for international shipping.
cant believe i just found close to the edge for $5
>>74907059
I found two volumes from the Environments series at a record store and am so happy that I bought them. They sound phenomenal and are great for meditation.
>>74907088
I saw this one on their ebay and figured it would rot there and nobody would ever give it a home so I decided to. Going to imagine its a ambient vaporwave album with that coverart desu :)
My gf picked this up for me. She said it was a steal.
>>74898357
I had never heard of this, but I saw the cover and checked it out. Pretty fucking good LP, I'm on my third listen right now.
Stuff I've bought since the beginning of the year
>>74902868

Brand new 10$

Career Suicide - Machine Response LP/CD
Cigarettes After Sex - S/T LP/CD
Run The Jewels - RTJ3 GOLD 2xLP
Municipal Waste - Slime and Punishment CD
>>74910857
Queerifications and Ruins by DJ Sprinkles
>>74915079
Nah, it's the clear one
I got these two at thrift shops for $1 each. The FSOL album has grooves on the front plastic cover for a moving image effect. The Ginastera includes the music Keith Emerson adapted (with permission) for "Toccata".
>>74915057
Extremely jealous of all that Lil Ugly Mane.
>>74915268
considering your environment is probably swamped with k-pop, not bad.
>>74907765

What's going on - Marvin Gaye.
Bought reissue because I wanted that record quickly. Kinda wish I'd waited to find it second hand but I would've been searching for a loooong time.
>>74921674
Actually, it's a prop from a Kenny vs. Spenny episode. Don't actually care about the content therein.
>>74921833
NAZI PUNKS FUCK OFF
>>74918663
how about if it was a 24 year old korean girl that was part of a kpop girl band that turned into a girl dance group
