It's miraculous how they've maintained their essence while doing some really daring new things.

I wasn't. It'll take time to digest, but I think I actually like it more than Sound of Silver. It's very developed and progressive sounding. There's no "Drunk Girls" or "Time to Get Away" - I love LCD, but their attempts at new wave were never their strong suit.

Y'all won't believe me but for a lot of time now i try not to have a strong opinion on anything before like 3-4 listens and sometimes it's still not enough to know how i really feel about a record. But holy crap i loved every second of it (well maybe a bit less call the police and american dream, dunno why they released it as singles. they're good but not as good as the rest of the record).
