I think I'm weirder for thinking it's their worst. I'm just not a fan of early 90s Youth but Dirty was Goo done better. I'm still not a huge fan of it but at least it doesn't bore me like most of Goo does.

Murray Street is my "eh" record from that era. Karen Revisited is great and Plastic Sun's pretty good but I can take or leave the rest. Nearly every song on Sonic Nurse hits home for me though, only ones I'm sort of whatever on are New Hampshire and Peace Attack. Love the album otherwise.

Fair enough, sometimes I think Murray Street is a bit too soft, but desu I really love it, beautiful melodies and guitar textures, it's SY at their most lush and relaxed. Sonic Nurse always seemed pretty weak to me, less atmospheric than MS, with much less catchy songs than Rather Ripped or The Eternal. It's not bad or anything but I was never taken by it
