if I listen to a negative song about depression or such I will start having bad thoughts, but if I listen to something happier I will feel more energetic and happier
i don't think I'm bipolar

No, you're just a normalfag
Music doesn't directly influence my mood, it acts more like a catalyst that enables me to think about and reinforce how I feel. Like, listening to sad music when I'm depressed feels comfy.

o-ok
Literally falling victim to EMOTIONAL DISHONESTY in 2017? Please kill yourselves.

I get you. I know that feel.

No better feeling desu

definitely not bipolar

The only effect I get is a positive one, whether it's some feel good vibes or inspiration to get back to writing after an artist kills it. Then again, I forgot when I felt sad last time so can't really recall the effects of music in the negative moments.

This. If I listen to aggressive music when I'm mad for example it feels great.
Music is almost like another language that we all understand in our own way. Certain sounds channel concepts that can't be expressed in words.
i wish, happy songs don't make me any better, just make me more depressed by describing what i lack
Depends on the music and context. I'm currently in the middle of bad depression and couldn't get thru Stage Four without crying, but when I'm already feeling awful some depressive music calms me down.

do you listen to dsbm?
>>74873700
No you should listen to more upbeat music when sad.
Stuff about those parties you're not invited to, the sex you're not having and the good feeling that's so alien to you.

listening to death and black metal when i'm pissed is the best feeling

Nope. I had a Silencer album but I didn't hear it in years.
Yes it can, but your mood also has a great impact on it too.
However lets say a really sad song comes on, it could change your mood depending on how ''strong'' the song is in a certain emotion.

Uhhhh hate to break it to you anon but normal people don't feel emotions past the age 12.
