How could an album be so perfect?

Maybe this thing was impressive back in 98 but now it's a real sonic bore. All this does for me is puts me in an atmosphere, like the transition from walking and getting into a car moving in a car doesn't matter, where you are going matters. Even Teardrop was uninteresting for me.

Still one of the finest bone albums. Hats off to them.

Teardrop isn't among the album's best tracks, so for you to hold it up as the standout via """Even""" Teardrop just goes to show your poor taste.
True patricians know that Man Next Door is the real standout. The opener, Angel, and Black Milk are also great of course.

I said that because most people consider it to be one of their best tracks. Didn't have anything to do with my opinion on it. Whole thing just annoyed and bored me from start to finish.

I will forever love this album more than anything because the starting menu music in Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines bloodlines is basically Angel and the whole album puts me in a VTMB mood

Nah. I'm glad that the trip hop fad died out quick.
I actually don't mind that the sound is a little dated, the 90's had this very comfy atmosphere that I love in music, especially in electronica/trip-hop and such.

VTM is one of the few things that has the same atmosphere. It's kinda sleazy and sketchy and... Wet, I guess.

Why?
>deletes Exchange
There, now it's perfect.

i like both exchanges better than group four
When people talk about trip-hop they always say there are only three albums worth listening to:
Massive Attack - Mezzanine
Portishead - Dummy
But what's the third one?
