The pillows are relatively popular among weebs due to the success of Fooly Cooly. Granted, they aren't like, say, FLOW where their fanbase is strictly weebs, but they do have their fair share. That said, Happy Bivouac is one of the best albums of the 90s and Last Dinosaur is one of the all time great songs

Living Field to Happy Bivouac is probably one of the better five album runs overall. the pillows is a great band with their own brand of power pop that to me never feels old, though I wouldn't quite claim it's the best japanese band ever. Definitely in the top 5.

I can't really pinpoint what makes them so special, but they've got a certain something which all great bands have.

Honestly, I like this band a lot, is there news for a visit to america? IG I remember they were in a tour of their newest album or something but I don't know if already ended.
