"Lit Me Up" is like a slice of Spirit of Eden-era Talk Talk. Love it.

Emo revival is shot and the entire album seems like it was recorded on ambien. You didn't see Braid become a bunch of moody and slow playing pussies on their maturity.

I want to love this album because I was in high school/college when Brand New was first making records and I adored them. I'm not mad that band's evolve. I'm mad that some get shit.

This is for Brand New what El Pintor was for Interpol as compared to Turn On the Bright Lights.
