ITT: Albums you use/have used as a crutch for depression etc.

>>74844826
is this bait? I can't imagine why someone would ever listen to TLOP for depression, let alone start a thread with it
>>74846054
he said HAVE used in the past so it might not mean it's what he listens to now
>>74846108
he actually said use/have used as a crutch for depression. i don't know what substance he can or could've gotten from that album, maybe he connects on a meta level with the Kanye West character but surely that isn't THE album he used for getting over depression
>>74846054
>>74846206
"w-why are you listening to different album that I am..."
>>74844826
>>74844826
I'm with you OP. That album came out in a turbulent time in my life and I listened to it non-stop. I don't think it's his best album but I'll be damned if it's not my favorite.
This and Geidi Primes
also Kanye. People have called this album shitty and called him pathetic for making it and being so emotional, but fuck that, I always liked it.
>>74844826
what songs

MAKE ME LOVE ME
>>74846460
It's not the best rap album last 10 years, but it is tied with Man on the Moon 1 for most influential.
What else?
>>74847443
Fuck yes
>>74845973
God if that isn't the truth. I'm not sure what single quality of this album that was so helpful but it certainly was.

For some reason this album. Last year was Hell and I spiraled into a depression and didnt do anything but drink and hate myself but this album was always something I put on. Not even my favorite album but I listened to it hundreds of times. Bizarre.

I literally only listen to Radiohead when I get depressed. If I listen to them when I'm happy it makes me sad. If I listen to them when I'm sad it's like Thom understands me.
>>74848182
>that maternal feeling of love "Shelter From the Storm" provides
>tfw may never meet a woman who makes me feel like that song
>>74846054
I don't know. Looking at it now, it's really not that bad at all

Took a while for someone to post this. This album helped me cope with depression in college so much. It felt. Right.
>>74849389
this too
>>74852948
This and Doris.
This and Ghost are great for getting me out of a hole. It's a shame their new stuff isn't that good.
>>74850784
Its like the musical equivalent of being held in your mothers arms as a babe
any album from the smiths
>>74850157
This.
This album is so fucking relatable sometimes
>>74849549
>if you've been depressed you're a nu male
This album just came out, but listening to it always makes me feel better. Milo is just so confident, it just makes me feel good
I don't have depression I just plunge myself into darkness whenever life becomes too painful. The edgier and angrier the music, the better.
Transatlanticism is probably the perfect album for getting through a breakup.
>>74849549
>will take his wife's last name
why the fuck not, at least hers is interesting. I've met dozens of people with my last name. hers is unique at least, the world doesn't need any more Smiths.
>>74851382
happiest album of 2016
>>74849734
You do you man, don't let that insecure anon try to tell you how you should feel.
>>74852967
Doris helps my depression when I'm really low, IDLS helps me sink into it and turn it more into anger
>>74844826
>>74849341
loveless always puts me in a beautifully mellow mood
such an immersive album
>>74855526
what
i never associated this in any way with misery. it is too whiney and aimed at 16 year olds to take seriously.
This album got me through a lot of lonesome depressed times
WHHOOOO WANTS
