It's sorta in between.

But the vibe from it is definitely related to vapor... but kinda goes to a new place.
It made me see the world in a new light, put it that way.
Suddenly I felt like I was in the 10's, not just a hangover of the 00's.

Much heavier than previous releases. More dance orientated and even darker than his/her(?) last releases.

It's become something WAAAAY more than vaporwave though.

I always thought it was a loose vibe that tried to capture an emotion of this time period.

Like Mac + was old retro samples, but done in a way to sound like the perspective of someone living today.

Hmm.. so far this one is a bit odd.

I think he needs to put a few more weeks of production into these records.. but frankly 7 records of this caliber is remarkable.

It's not vaporwave.
Beer On The Rug is vaporwave, Dream Catalogue is dreamwave.

Ambient/vaporwave/whatever, thisis one of my most favorite albums of all time

Regardless of genre — this album is incredible.

It also stopped a massive amount of people from slowing down / reverbing 80’s pop, encouraged them to write their own music, and try evoke the sense of vaporvave without having to rely on samples.

This album took vaporwave out of the meme
