Folk Krautrock?

Not really krautrock desu.
You could try bands like sun city girls and the opening reminded me of hala strana but it's more of an instrumental/artsy thing.

Krautrock has no meaning anymore. It's so stupid when modern bands label themselves as Krautrock, the whole point of the genre is it was an underground experimental music scene in Germany in the 70's.

If you are into Krautfolk, Witthüser & Westrupp are as great as it gets. Their music is usually very minimal, the lyrics often bleak, but with a prevailing sense of humor. Sadly, Witthüser passed away earlier this month, rest in peace.
