Why 6.9 is fair enough. Its an okay record

It's not great. It's okay, but I hate the production on it. It sounds too clean and overproduced through the whole thing. It's really sterile and empty and boring. At the start of every song, I just eye roll and suffer through this generic "le hard rock music" production. It's like if someone who has only ever made pop music got pushed into making a QOTSA album. ...Like Clockwork sounded really dark and punchy, whether it was soft and dreary or fast and loud. The sound of this album just made me want to listen to any of their other albums to escape it's completely lame production.

Stick to pop hits and dope funk music, Mark Ronson.
