I'm not sure why I like it as much as I do. I don't think it's as objectively as good as the others, but it's still one of my favourites on the album.
Maybe it's to do with the fact that he could have played something more complicated, but he had the knowledge not to, because it didn't suit the feeling of the song as much.

This album is about perfect, Hummer makes me feel good, cherub rock has great commentary while being super catchy, today is one of my favorite songs, and mayonaise is on a whole other level of emotion. The only problem is that the last three tracks suck compared to the rest

All I feel is embarrassment for billie that he put out such an overdramatic, self-serious piece of middle school crap. The string sections are so uncalled for and overdone. I don't want to say it's cringy because that word is so overused but it honestly makes me cringe. Hard. One of the edgiest and most melodramatic pieces of music I have ever heard. I can BARELY suffer through listening to that song.

In terms of rock though I enjoy artists like Tim Buckley, Wire, Frank Zappa and Bob Dylan. DEFINITELY not the Smashing Pumpkins and definitely not whoever the fuck Bush are.
