Basically filler that completely lacks the appeal or impact of Deathconsciousness. Guggenheim, Defensestration Song and Cropsey all existed in some form before the album came out, and two of the new tracks are drones. Furthermore the version of Defenestration Song that appears on this record is significantly worse than the original.

The production is also somehow worse than DC, where all the noise and poor recordings of made it feel super raw and bleak,

whereas here it just sounds smothered in reverb and effects in an attempt to sound bleak that doesn't really translate, it just kind of sounds like Dan has no idea what he's doing most of the time. Despite all of this I don't think it's a terrible record, but it's considerably weaker than most of Dan's other work.

trainwreck 1975 by death from above sounds like Defenestration Song

it's an 8/10 for me honestly
really drives home more powerful DC-like atmosphere
