It's at least a 7/10 and probably the best hip hop album released this year. His flow sucks a bit and the lyrics are a bit generic as far as talking about depression goes, but let's not shoot down the incredibly somber atmosphere created by those instrumentals. The singing parts aren't too bad either honestly.

Why the fuck is everything XXX does so fucking short? Is he capable of making a song that's 3 minutes long at least? The dude has somehow become a huge sensation, and has made an entire album without ever making a fully fleshed out song. He's not nearly mature enough a human being or a songwriter to be as good as he thinks he is, but he's managed to blow up based on aesthetic alone somehow. The hype will die out eventually like it did with Odd Future.

Gnarly Bastard is dope as shit but its literally one minute and just a chorus. Motherfucker needs to try harder and flesh out his ideas more.
