Yeah, I don't really go on tumblr either but I get what >>74806329 is saying. Albums like How To Be A Human Being and AM are practically tumblr-core.
It being tumblr core does not necessarily make it a bad thing though. If anything, it just means you'll find that specific album being "discussed" more on tumblr than on /mu/.
Then there's also reddit-core, which is mostly dadrock or whatever flavor of the month album /r/indieheads likes.
