Why did the band even stop using Field Recordings and samples after Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas to Heaven? I prefer their first albums because of this. Their mix of drone, post-rock, and field recordings were just perfect to the eerie post apocalyptic feel they used to have in their older works.
