Is this, dare I say it /mu/, the greatest album ever made?
What?
What kind of answer are you looking for here? Yes? No? You know that it's subjective. What is the point of this thread? D you think this is the greatest album ever? Is that all you have to say about it? Why not at least say why you think so? Come on OP.

I appreciate your style of constructive criticism. Truth is, lately I have been looking for pure albums. I like Rate Your Music the best as a website. Anybody know any pure albums and artists? What's the highest rated pure artist? Album? I need recs. I love the idea of music that doesn't rely on super explicit references to drugs, sex, and violence, along with not relying on profanity.

that's a tough request, because people's ideas of purity vary so much. II honestly don't know what to offer besides The Beach Boys but even they were influenced by drugs

the purest artist I know is tom rosenthal

Well as long as drugs sex and violence are not GLORIFIED, that's okay, anon.
As long as they don't harm anyone else I don't mind druggie musicians.

Best folk album of all time surely, not sure about the greatest EVER though
just listened to it this morning. i think there's a couple mediocre tracks but it's still one my favorite albums. it's a shame more people aren't open to alternate or made up tunings

Nick Drake was a massive pothead and references it in his music.
