It's definitely one of my favorites from this year, but at the same time outside a couple tracks like Panic where he's been the most ambitious, I definitely enjoy Engravings more overall.

Dagger Paths remains my favorite. Glory Gongs is great shit

I liked it, not too much to talk about though, just a quality album.

I prefer it to Engravings, myself. Really solid output and worth the wait.

more ambitious than Engravings, better production values (the live instrumentation and vocal samples really stand out) and he seems much more attuned to fleshing out his ideas, rather than just finding a mood and sticking with it.

That said, both albums have god-tier artwork, his aesthetic choices are unbelievably good.
